Your first love?

This short film reminds me of the movie "Paris, Je t'aime," which is comprised of 18 short films. The images are beautiful. The scenes are vaguely melancholic. The plot may not make complete sense but it evokes old sentiments within yourself. Enjoy this and relish everything you felt for your first love.

Be mine, Valentine

This year, I am bitten by the love bug for Valentine's Day. I know that it's one week away but I cannot help feeling all lovey-dovey. I think it's a wonderful day to really remind EVERYONE around us (not only our significant other) that we really appreciate them. Yes, we are supposed to be expressive of our love and gratitude every day but c'mon, admit it, who ever does? So get out there, and drop some genuine old-fashioned written letters (sealed with a kiss) into the mailbox! I hope everyone receives love notes, chocolates and sweet kisses as if we are back in second grade.

Mad Ads

I know this is a little late for me to show you as it was a summer phenomenon. But I didn't have a blog back then to share it with you. So ta-da! Oldie but goodie! Tipp-Ex, a white-out company, is exploiting YouTube to really explode off of the screen and into your brain! Go to their YouTube site and play with this "A Hunter ____ a bear" senario. I know that the first thing that you're probably going to type is "F**k," you sick creep. Really, type anything you want in it and you'll see it happening on the screen. My favourites are "Games," "Is," "high fives," "raves," and "Tipp-ex." Have fun playing around with it! This interactive video is really taking advertisements to a whole new level. What's next?!

He's like... this cool website?

This witty site brings out the clever (and competitive) side of you in asking you to complete the proposed analogy. They are so funny that I'm trying to memorize them so that I can use them in passing with my friends (so you know, this is good stuff!). Here's a little tease...

"She's like the Bible: Lay one hand on her and you may be in court"
"She's like an iPod:Played me, and don't think she won't play U2"
"She's like a diaper: self-absorbed white trash"
"He's like a haiku: only 17 and serving 3 sentences"

Su casa es mi casa

I know I am ruining my own chances of winning this dream home by letting you in on the secret, but have you seen the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway?!?! I'll be envious of the lucky son-of-a-b* who wins that ginormous lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Do I know where that is? Do I care? Three large bedrooms (one with 8 beds), 2 living rooms, balconies, terrace, car, and $500,000 later, I don't care if this house is in Antartica, I WANT IT.

Now, go out there and enter in the sweepstakes 2 times a day, once through HGTV and once through Frontdoor.com. When you win this treasure chest, I call that guest bedroom!!!

Internet blockage??

Hey Egypt,

If there's anything I learned from South Park, just try unplugging your modem for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. Everything will be fixed. Breathe.
